Reptilian Tesselation & Reassemble Effects

This is a high-res facial scanning model that I got a long time ago in the 3D scanning laboratory at Stony Brook University. I simplified and re-topologlized it in Houdini, and then transformed each four quad prim into a lizard shaped topology structure, as well as some rbd reassemble simulations, making it look like a puzzle. The inspiration here comes from Escher's reptile tessellation. My goal is to practice traversing the VEX algorithm on each edge of a hexagon and flexibly accessing information from a prim and its neighbors' vertices.
